Kimberly Armstrong

Kimberly Armstrong, Ph.D.,  was a clinical psychology doctoral student in the ADDL whose interest in ASD was sparked when working as a behavioural interventionist with children with ASD. After completing her B.A. in Psychology at SFU she worked as a researcher for two years with Dr. Simon Baron-Cohen in the Autism Research Centre, University of Cambridge before returning to SFU to complete her graduate studies. Her research interests involved intense and unusual interests in adults with ASD, and visual processing in ASD. Dr. Armstrong's research was funded by an Autism Research Training, NeuroDevNet, CIHR, and SSHRC.
